Minister for Forest and Environment Prem Bahadur Ale has said that the situation of buying firewood for cremation at Pashupati Aryaghat will end. Speaking at the inaugural function of a two-day national seminar on 'Youth Inclusion in Cooperatives' organized by the National Federation of Cooperatives on Monday, Minister Ale said that the situation of having to buy firewood for cremation at Pashupati Aryaghat would end.
"The Ministry of Forest and Environment would provide free firewood for cremation. "In case you have to buy firewood for cremation at Pashupati Aryaghat by paying Rs 12,000-15,000, at least it should be done free of cost, My ministry has taken homework forward, this time we are implementing it." He said
Minister Ale also said that the concept of open zoo has also been taken forward.
