Bagmati cleaning campaign focuses on Pashupati area

The Bagmati Sanitation Campaign on Falgun 22 & 29 will be focused on Pashupati area.

In order to provide a clean environment to the devotees coming to Pashupati area on Mahashivaratri, the cleaning on the two Saturdays before and after Shivaratri is being concentrated in Pashupati area.

Millions of devotees from home and abroad visit Pashupatinath temple on Mahashivaratri. Therefore, a program has been decided to clean the Pashupati area from Suryaghat to Aryaghat dam, said Kishor Singh Shahi, a Bagmati cleaning campaigner.

The Bagmati Sanitation Campaign, which started on Jeth 5, 2070 BS, has been going on for seven years.
