A clash has broken out between UML KP Oli and Madhav Nepal cadres on the issue of placing and removing the board at the provincial office in Dhangadhi. The clash took place between the cadres of both the parties while changing the board of the NeKaPa provincial office at Chatakpur in Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis-3. The situation is tense now.
On Wednesday morning, Nepal's cadres entered the office and put up a new board with the name plate of Bhim Rawal as the state in-charge and Bhanubhakta Joshi as the chairman. Shortly afterwards, a procession led by Oli's state president Karna Thapa tore down the Madhav group's board and put up a new one. The group also removed the name plates of Rawal Pradesh in-charge and Joshi chairman.
After that, Rawal's party cadres came and removed the board and name plate kept by Oli's group. During that time, there were disputes and clashes between the two groups. Police immediately intervened and brought the situation under control. At present, the state office is in the possession of the police.
