It has been found that the dozer driver fled to India after burying the woman alive in a pit at Tripura Sundari-1, Salyantar in Dhading.
Saraswati Kumal, 45, who was returning home carrying grass in Kholsi Jipjipe of the district on Falgun 17, fell into a ditch. After that, dozer driver Bhim Bahadur Budhathoki, who was digging the road, instead of rescuing her, brought soil and buried her alive in a ditch.
However, the locals found out that Bhim Bahadur Budhathoki, a dozer driver from Dang, had fled to India.
Director of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) Sahakul Bahadur Thapa said that Budhathoki fled to Indian through Nepalgunj and hid there.
"Initially, he went to Dang to his relatives and took money from them and he fled to Haryana, India. His relatives in Haryana suggested him to surrender after learning that he had killed the woman and fled After that he left Haryana and reached Haridwar" Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Thapa said.
He stayed there, he learned that the police has assigned a special team to arrested. And, in coordination with the Indian police, he was arrested and brought to Nepal. The District Police Office, Dhading will conduct a detailed investigation against him.
