Government isolation of province 2 is empty, zero infected in 2 districts

The number of active cases of corona virus has dropped to zero in two districts of State-2. Only a small number are actively infected in the other six districts.

In the last 24 hours, 18 samples were tested at Janakpurdham Provincial Hospital and two at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital. On Wednesday, 17 samples were tested at Janakpurdham Provincial Hospital and 11 samples were tested at Narayani Hospital, Birgunj.

Earlier on Tuesday, 21 PCRs and three swabs from the antigen method were tested at the provincial public health laboratory and only one person tested positive.

On Monday, swab tests of 61 people at the Provincial Public Health Laboratory, 2 at the Siraha Laboratory and 95 at the Bardibas Laboratory did not find a single person infected. While testing 30 swab samples at Narayani Hospital, Birgunj, only one person was found infected.

No infection was found in 17 tests at Gaur Hospital Rautahat on Sunday Earlier, 28 swabs were tested at the provincial laboratory in Janakpurdham on Saturday, but one flop case and the rest were negative.

At present, only 51 people are actively infected in the state. While these 51 people are also in home isolation, government isolation in all eight districts has become vacant.

There is not a single person infected with corona in Saptari and Siraha districts. Although 16 people were infected in Dhanusha, 7 in Mahottari, 10 in Sarlahi, 2 in Rautahat, 4 in Bara and 12 in Parsa, they remained in home isolation Acting Director of the Health Directorate Vijay Jha informed.

A total of 145,529 swabs have been collected in State 2 till Tuesday. Of them, 17,191 have been infected.

A total of 209 people have died in the state after the corona infection was confirmed.
