Binay Jung Basnet arrested for abusing Sapna Rokamagar

 

Kathmandu. 

Kathmandu police have arrested Binay Jung Basnet on charges of abusing Safal Sapna Rokamagar to be included in the BBC's list of influential women. A team from the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police arrested Basnet from the new bus park in Kathmandu.

Rokamagar had lodged a complaint against Basnet alleging that she had been abused. SP Ramesh Basnet informed Ratopati that Basnet was arrested on the basis of the same complaint. A few months ago, she dreamed of being included in the list of 100 most influential women in the world published by the BBC every year in the British media.

Sapna of Myagdi district is a young woman who has been managing the unclaimed bodies found on the side of the road. Basnet had also been managing the corpses with her.
