Bibekshil Sajha said - Prime Minister and President should resign immediately

The Bibekshil Saja Party has welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to reinstate the parliament and demanded the resignation of President Vidya Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

In a statement issued after the Supreme Court overturned the president's unconstitutional dissolution of parliament on the recommendation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Bibekshil Sajha said he should resign immediately on moral grounds.

"Based on the confession that he has not been able to work in the past, the prime minister should now pave the way for the formation of a new government by the parliamentarians without any undue maneuver," said a statement issued by spokesperson Sharad Raj Pathak.

"President Bidyadevi Bhandari, who has approved every unconstitutional move of the prime minister as a rubber stamp, should also resign immediately, regardless of her responsibility to defend the constitution," Bibekshil said in a statement.
