Woman dies when bus hits scooter in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur

 

Kathmandu. 

A woman has died when a bus hit a scooter in Jawalakhel of Lalitpur district. The deceased has been identified as a 33-year-old woman riding on the scooter numbered Pra 3-02-010 Pa 5589.

She was seriously injured when a bus (Ba 2 Kha 3574) heading towards Bhansipati hit a scooter heading in the same direction at around 1.30 pm on Monday.

She died at Alka Hospital while undergoing treatment, according to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Circle, Jawalakhel.

The traffic police was checking at Jawalakhel at the time of the accident. According to the traffic police, the accident may have taken place when the bus hit the scooter from behind while trying to flee due to lack of license during the preliminary investigation.

According to the traffic police, the woman could not be identified as no identification documents were found with her.
