Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he will abide by the court's decision. On his way out of the Parliament House in New Baneshwor, he expressed his commitment to implement the decision of the Supreme Court regarding the CPN (Maoist).
Prime Minister Oli, who entered the parliament building at around 4 pm, stayed for about half an hour and returned. The session of the House of Representatives convened for 4 pm has not started yet.
The Supreme Court today ruled that the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) belongs to the same party led by Rishi Ram Kattel and the then CPN (UML) and the CPN (Maoist Center) will remain as separate political parties.
