After 7 weeks, the global corona infection has increased again

Kathmandu.

The number of people infected with the corona virus (Covid-19) has risen worldwide in the past year. The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Monday that corona infections had risen worldwide for the first time in seven weeks.

Speaking at a briefing on Monday, WHO chief Tedros Adhanam Gebreyes said the rise in corona infections around the world was sad but not uncommon. He said corona infections had increased in all parts of the world last year. He said that the infection has also increased due to loosening of health standards in some areas.

Maria Van Kerkhov, head of the WHO's Kovid-19 technical division, said the recent rise in infections was a warning to all countries around the world. She insisted that it should not be allowed to grow.

So far, more than 114 million corona infections have been found worldwide, and more than 2.5 million have died. Corona vaccination program is also being implemented in many countries of the world. However, the WHO said that even if the vaccination program is implemented, it would be hasty to stop following the required safety standards for corona control. However, he urged everyone to get the corona vaccine.

The head of the WHO, Gabrieus, also protested the inequality in vaccine distribution around the world. He emphasized the need to focus on protecting the world's most vulnerable people.
