Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Netra Bikram Chand Biplop are scheduled to address the gathering from the same platform.
Prime Minister Oli and CPN (Maoist) General Secretary Biplop will address the special ceremony on Falgun 21 at 2 pm.
According to Rajan Bhattarai, a member of the government's negotiating team, a special ceremony will be held at the National Assembly. Details of the agreement will be made public from the same ceremony.
After Thursday's talks, a joint press note signed by Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa 'Badal' and coordinator of the Biplop group and spokesperson Khadka Bahadur Bishwakarma has been made public. The press note states that a three-point agreement has been signed between the government and the rebel group.
It is mentioned that the CPN (Maoist) will conduct all its political activities peacefully. It has also agreed to lift the government's ban on insurgent groups.
The government had banned the rebel group on Falgun 28, 2075, alleging that the killings were violent.
