Acquaintances from Tiktok: Robbery after staying together in hotel for 2 days

Itahari Area Police Office has arrested a youth on charge of looting after rape.

Rajiv Gurung, 39, of Kaskikot Gaonpalika-4 of Kaski has been arrested on the charge of absconding with the girl's jewelery and money after raping her at a hotel for two days.

Police claim that Gurung, who had absconded after cheating a young woman from Itahari, was arrested from Itahari while he was on his way to meet a woman from Jhapa.

Gurung, who came from Kaski on January 9, stayed at RR Hotel in Itahari Sub-Metropolis-9 for two days.

After that, the girl went to the bathroom to take a bath. A complaint was filed at the police office on Magh 27 alleging that he had fled with a gold earring, bracelet, chain, Rs 27,500 in cash, ATM of Sangrila Development Bank and a mobile phone.

After that, Gurung was arrested from Itahari while he was visiting a Jhapa woman whom he knew through social media. According to the police, the ATM card of the woman was also recovered from the arrested Gurung.
