Nepali woman shot dead in New Delhi, India

A Nepali woman was shot dead in the Indian capital New Delhi on Wednesday.

According to Indian police, a 45-year-old woman named Meena, who was living in Timarpur, North Delhi, was shot dead by the assailants on a motorcycle. Meena had been trading in water, snacks and cold drinks in New Delhi.

According to police, the attack took place at around 7 in the morning. A senior Delhi police official said the attackers fled on a motorcycle and the woman was rushed to a hospital where doctors pronounced her dead.

Police have formed various teams to search for the attacker.
