Kathmandu.
Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Dr. Baburam Bhattarai is scheduled to return today.
After completing the health check-up, former Prime Minister Bhattarai started returning to Nepal today on a Nepal Airlines flight, according to his secretariat. He will leave Delhi for Kathmandu at 2 pm, said Bhattarai's press advisor Biswadeep Pandey.
Bhattarai, who arrived in New Delhi on suspicion of having cancer in a neuro-endocrine tumor, underwent a medical examination at
the Institute of Liver and Bile Sciences there.
After a biopsy, doctors concluded that there was no cancer. However, doctors have suggested that the tumor be surgically removed within two to three months. The doctor suggests that there is a risk of cancer without immediate surgery.
Bhattarai had gone to New Delhi on Falgun 9.
