Chinese state-run media Global Times has released video footage of clashes between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galvan Valley last year. The two countries clashed in June last year. Twenty Indian soldiers were killed in the clashes. China did not comment on casualties but couple of days back acknowledged that four of its troops had been killed.
The video, which has been made public, also shows Indian and Chinese troops sharply accusing each other. The video also shows military officials from both sides talking.
In a public video, China pointed to India, saying: "Foreign forces have been violating the old agreement since April. They crossed the border to build bridges and roads, "the video said. The video said: "Tensions at the border have risen after the foreign forces made a unilateral attempt to change the status quo."
The Chinese side said: "Respecting the agreement, we have tried to resolve the situation through negotiations." The video shows the two countries' troops clashing in the dark of night and Chinese troops rescuing wounded soldiers and greeting the dead.
