Now the mobile will be charged from the paper

Smartphone users have to deal with mobile battery issues every day. The battery goes down and the phone turns off, you are on the way, there is no facility to charge the phone. This problem should be faced by most of today's consumers.

Now American scientists have found a solution to this problem. They have made a generator out of paper, which you can carry in your pocket. And, wherever you are, you can charge your mobile and other similar devices.

Electricity is generated by hand pressing this generator made of paper. When pressure or friction is generated on your paper (Generate Electricity by Squeezing Paper Device) electricity is generated. Hard to believe, this technology has been successfully tested. This device also gives you power supply when you are traveling outside the home-office, by train, bus, bicycle or on foot. No matter where you are, you no longer have to 'face' a shortage of electrical energy.

How do you think electricity can be generated from paper? Rubbish Talking!

But wait, science has the power to solve all your curiosities, needs, fears and mistrusts. Sometimes you may feel an electric shock when you touch an object. It's cold weather right now; sometimes you get a glimpse of electric waves due to friction while wearing a sweater. You may also be bothered by hair or other thin fibers sticking to the sweater. As you may know, science calls it static power.

You know, electricity came a long time after the universe. Negative charge and positive charge became the first raw material to generate electricity. The mutual combination of these charges became electricity. Now understand that negative charge and positive charge are everywhere in the world, everywhere. When a negative charge and a positive charge meet on a surface, electricity is generated. Now you can say electricity is everywhere in the world.

Power houses alone do not generate electricity. This is a different matter. So far, science has not been able to develop the technology to generate electricity from the mutual combination of negative charge and positive charge everywhere.

This news can be called the beginning of this sequence. Science students know about the 'Triboelectric Effect'. In common parlance, this is the reaction to pressure on an object. Let's say the electrons there are excited. Similarly, when pressure is applied to two opposite charges in an object, electrons begin to flow between them, generating electricity.

Zhang Lin Wang, an engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology, has developed the technology to create 'triboelectricity' from the 'triboelectric effect'. It is called 'Triboelectric Generator'. His technology is expected to reduce commercial electricity consumption in the near future.

Zhang Lin Wang and his friends cut the sandpaper into small squares with the help of a laser. They applied a thin coating of gold and other 'conductive' substances to the pieces of sandpaper. After this, all the pieces were joined together to form Rhombi.

This is the 'triboelectric generator' he made. It can be easily carried in the pocket. This paper generator generates 1 volt of energy when you press it with your fingers for a few minutes. With so much energy generated from paper, you can charge mobiles, power banks, earphones, remote controls, medical devices as well as other small electric devices.

Wang believes the technology will become popular soon because it is cheaper. He says this technology is also 'biodegradable'.

Imagine that in the future, the walls of the house will be covered with paper that can supply half of the energy consumed in the house, if not more. And, solar panels made using this technology have given rise to the possibility of revolutionizing the solar energy sector.
