Request to Oli-Prachanda to convene a party meeting
Kathmandu.
Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam has suggested Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to resign from the post of Prime Minister without delay. Gautam made the suggestion in a press release.
Welcoming the decision of the Constitutional Court, Gautam also demanded that the President convene a session of the House of Representatives through a press release. Similarly, as the Vice-Chairman of the CPN (Maoist), he has requested me to convene an immediate secretariat meeting with both KP Sharma Oli and Prachanda at the party's central office in Dhumbarahi.
Stating that the dissolution of the House of Representatives by Prime Minister Oli on December 20 was unconstitutional, he said that it was a historic day when autocracy, arbitrariness, defeat of anarchy and malpractice and victory of constitution, law, democracy and people's sovereignty were achieved.
"On this occasion, I would first of all thank the Chief Justice and the judges of the Constitutional Court," he said.
