Dissolution of Parliament has caused complications, now fresh mandate required: Kamal Thapa

Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Kamal Thapa has said that the dissolution of the parliament has caused constitutional complications.

Addressing a rally in Gauriganj, Jhapa, Thapa said a fresh mandate would be appropriate to end the current cycle of corruption, unemployment, bigotry, proselytism and totalitarianism.

Stating that the monarchy and the Hindu nation are democratic and progressive, Thapa claimed that the rule of the children of the people and the existence of the monarchy only as a guardian would be in the best interest of the country.

Thapa was of the view that maintaining the Sanatan Hindu Rashtra in a way that respects all religions would safeguard the religion, culture, tradition and originality of the country.

Stating that 14 years of political practice had failed, he said that the dirty politics of selfishness and power had played a role in increasing foreign pressure, influence and interference.

Thapa remarked that the conflict within the Communist Party was not for the sake of national interest and construction but for the sake of seats, power and distribution. Speaking on the occasion, RPP leader Rajendra Lingden claimed that he would leave RPP as an alternative to the Congress and the Communists.
