More than 16,000 corona infections have been reported in India in a single day

Corona infections are on the rise again in India, where the number of new cases of the coronavirus (Covid-19) has been declining for a long time. In the last 24 hours alone, 16,738 new cases of corona have been found in India.

According to the Indian Ministry of Health, the total number of corona infections has reached 11 million 46 thousand 914. Similarly, 138 people have died from corona in India in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of deaths from corona in India has reached one lakh 56 thousand 705.

So far, more than 12.67 million people in India have been vaccinated against corona. With the recent rise in corona infections, corona prevention measures have been tightened in some Indian states.
