6,000 foreigners came to Nepal in one month

According to the Immigration Department, most of the passengers arriving in Nepal through Tribhuvan Airport in the first month of January 2021 were Indians.

In a period of one month, 2,865 Indians had come to Nepal by plane. Similarly, China has the second highest number of foreign nationals coming to Nepal. In one month, 1,666 Chinese came to Nepal. In a period of one month, a total of 6,225 foreigners had come to Nepal and 40,159 Nepalis had come by plane.

The number of Indians leaving Nepal by plane in a month is also higher. In January, 3,511 Indians left Nepal. Similarly, 1,673 Chinese had left Nepal. 

During this period, 7,292 foreigners have left Nepal. In January, 39,946 Nepalis have left the country by plane.
