Earthquake shakes New Delhi

An earthquake shook northern India, including the Indian capital New Delhi, on Friday night. As soon as the quake was felt, people rushed out of their homes. The quake, which struck at 10:31 pm, was felt in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and other parts of northern India, according to Indian media.

The quake measured 6.3 on the Richter scale and its epicenter was 74 kilometers below the ground in Tajikistan. Earlier today, an earthquake was also felt in Rajasthan.
