Corona-like virus from Asia Spreading on bat

Scientists say SARS-COV-2, which is linked to the corona virus, is spreading to goats in most parts of Asia. The virus similar to the Covid-19 virus has been found in bats living in a wildlife reserve in the eastern part of Thailand. In this regard, they predicted that there would be a similar virus in bats in many Asian countries and regions.

Scientists have recently discovered that the virus has spread to a distance of 4,800 km. It also provides clues as to how Covid 19 started. "Samples are very limited," the researchers said. However, we are convinced that the coronavirus has a lot in common with the genetic traits of SARS-COV-2. And, such a virus is found in bats in different parts of Asia. ’

In a report published in Nature Communications, researchers found that the virus was co-existed in various parts of the world, including Japan, China and Thailand. Past studies have also shown that SARS-COV-2, which is found in animals such as chimpanzees, must have spread to humans. The exact origin of the corona virus is still unknown. A team of international experts formed by the World Health Organization (WHO) is investigating.

The team first visited the city of Wuhan in China's western province of Huai, where the corona virus was first seen. The team, in collaboration with the Chinese team, recently claimed that the theory that the corona virus may have leaked from a laboratory was wrong. A recent study by a team led by Lin Fa Wang of the University of Singapore found the virus, known as Yaxes-203, in an artificial cave in a wildlife sanctuary in Thailand. Its genetic code is said to match 91.5 percent with SARS-COVE-2.
