Chhoila


 

Ingredients


Buff meat: 1 kg (boiled and diced)
Tomato: 1/2 kg (boiled and pureed)
Garlic: 30 cloves (sliced lengthwise)
Dried Red chilies: 10 (dry fried and crushed)
Salt: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric: 1/4 teaspoon
Mustard oil: 3 tablespoon for frying and another 3 tablespoon for marinating.
Garlic Leaves: 2 (finely chopped and optional)
Coriander: 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)

Procedure:


1) Heat 3 tablespoon of oil in pan and fry the boiled meat with turmeric until it is hardened.
2) Leave the meat to cool down.
3) Add tomato puree, garlic, red chili, salt, 3 tablespoon of mustard oil garlic leaves to the cooled meat and mix well. Garnish with coriander at the end.
4) Eat it as snack or with almost anything with rice, roti, chiura.

(Note* Avoid chili powder in chhoila instead use hand crushed red chilies as I have mentioned, because seeds of chili gives nice texture to chhoila and is hot.)
