Bird flu has been seen again in Tarkeshwor Municipality of Kathmandu. Ward no.7 Of Tarkeshwar Municipality After the outbreak of bird flu in Sanglekhola Footung, ward no.1 Bird Flu has been confirmed in the ducks reared by the farmers of the district.
According to the Department of Veterinary Services, agencies related to veterinary services at the federal, state and local levels have been mobilized to prevent the spread of the disease from the area where Bird Flu has been confirmed. The department said that all the domestic birds and other contagious items in the affected area have been destroyed.
In this process, 1421 ducks, 42 local chickens, 26 eggs and 800 kg grains have been destroyed. The department has informed that the affected areas have been completely disinfected.
