Kathmandu:
Sandeep Lamichhane, an important bowler of the Nepali cricket team, has been granted a British visa.
After getting the visa, Sandeep will go to England to play T20 Blast and The Hundred.
"Sandeep's visa came on Friday and now he is preparing to take part in the competition," his officials said.
Sandeep's visa came through Visa VFS Global. VFS is an outsourcing technology service provider company. It facilitates visas around the world.
Sandeep will miss the opening match of the T20 Blast due to his late visa. T-20 Blast is starting from June 9.
Sandeep had to arrive in the UK in the last week of May to join the opening game of the T20 Blast. However, Sandeep will have to face some problems as he did not get the visa on time.
The UK has made it mandatory to stay in quarantine for ten days. Sandeep has to stay in quarantine for 10 days when he goes to UK following this protocol.
Only when Corona's report is negative twice will he be able to participate in the T20 blast. Sandeep will lose four / five matches of Blast.
