Danger of Corona's third and fourth waves: request to make 20 percent beds for children

Kathmandu.

The Ministry of Health and Population has said that there is a danger of the third and fourth wave of corona epidemic and has requested to prepare 20 percent beds for children.

It has written to all hospitals and health institutions on Friday requesting to keep 20 percent beds ready.

"Like the second wave: the third and fourth waves are coming and at that time children are more likely to be infected. Please keep at least 20 percent of your approved beds ready to be used for the treatment of infected children" The letter said.

In addition, the ministry has been requested to manage oxygen.
